More scam from Craigslist
My previous post on scam from Craigslist has been popular and helped some people before it is too late. So I decided to post another scam so it’s on everyone’s radar. But don’t get me wrong, selling on Craigslist is awesome and I sold my laptop quickly to a very nice customer, but I want to flag this person as a scam so nobody will fall for it.
Here are the emails:

This email is to notify you about my intrest in buying your posted item on craigslist. I will be expecting your response if you still have the item for sale, i will also want you to tell me more about its working condition.
I will be expecting to hear from you.

My Name is Shola Adewun an IT specialist based and worked in Montreal Canada. i have intrest in buying your posted item on craigslist and the price is very ok for me. I would have preferred to get your money to you in person and inspect the item, but due to distance between us i will not be able to make your payment in person. I will get your money out to you through WESTERN UNION Money Transfer and your money will be available to be cleared at any western union payment outlet. To get the money cleared you will go to western union payment outlet with the payment control number (MTCN) and the answer to the test question, this are the information you need to get the fund cleared at the western union payment office. Before i will be able to send your money out to western union you will need to get back to me with your needed info for payment (name,location address and valid phone number), this are your info to make your payment with western union.
I will be expecting your email.
Concerning the shipping and handling of the package, i will take care of that with my shipping account with courier. Just let me know with your needed info to make your payment with western union in good time.

I too was a victim of this fraud i wish i had read this before.
I too fell for it. Do you have any information on the person that said they were you? I am a college student who is literally selling everything so that I can pay for school. They bought a printer from me and did the same exact thing. I am in deseprate need of the money. So any information would be helpful!

I was about to be a victim of this fraud as well as the other one, which I will post it for you, I tried to sell my phones through Craig’s list.
The deals was almost done, she was sending me a cheque, but see the below email from her. She got my bank name, my full name & address. She never revealed her bank name and she is not willing to get the product inperson also.

Unbelievable, I ran into the same exact individual for this instance of fraud. IF ANYONE EVER RECEIVES EMAIL CLAIMING INTEREST IN AN ITEM FROM AN INDIVIDUAL NAMED *ELLAINE HALL*, PROMPTLY IGNORE IT. IT IS A COMPLETE SCAM.
