Leopard Bug – Can’t Wake Up from Sleep
Like every other early adopter, I rushed to the Soho Apple store to get myself a copy of Leopard. I am impressed by all the improvements so far, especially the search option when running applications.
So far I only spotted one bug, and after browsing through the User Discussion Forum on Apple, a lot of people seem to be having the same problem. Like every other OS I used, I set to not let my computer go to sleep ever. Surprisingly, I have returned every morning to a computer who can’t seem to wake up. Although a hard reset fixes the problem, it is still really annoying. There is a long thread on the forum on this issue, and people seem to be having this problem when an external HD is connected to the computer. This is a temporary solution posted by a user named Sonicjay:
1. Power off mac, unlplug for 20 seconds to clear buffers, etc.
2. boot up, login, open Finder, browse to Macintosh HD, Library, Preferences, and find and drag “com.apple.PowerManagement.plist” out to your desktop (you can delete this later, or archive it somewhere).
3. Reboot.
Apple doesn’t seem to have a permanent fix yet. I guess as long as we keep reporting the problem to Apple, hopefully the solution will come with the next update.

Followed your directions to fix problem but I was unable to find com.apple.powermanagement.plist. I went to HD-Library-preferences and it was not listed.
I’m also having this problem… Very annoying.
Found that file in /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/.
